THE COUNTIES MID-STATE RC&D SERVES IN CENTRAL PENNYSYLVANIA
INCLUDE JUNIATA, MIFFLIN, PERRY, SNYDER AND UNION



WHAT KINDS OF PROJECTS DOES MID-STATE RC&D SUPPORT?

To date, the Mid-State RC&D has assisted with projects to:
  • Create or upgrade hiking, biking, and walking trails;
  • support centers for community activities and recreation (community centers, swimming pools, rest areas);
  • correct sewage and drainage problems
  • proect municipal waters supplies
  • create handicap access areas
  • restore historic markers

The Mid-State RC&D gives priority to projects that:
  • are locally generated;
  • take advantage of collaboration among diverse groups;
  • do not duplicate other efforts already underway;
  • and coincide with the goals and objectives of the RC&D council.
